In the winter of 2017, an enchanting idea took root in the hearts of our family: the creation of a one-of-a-kind agricultural tourism destination centered around the majestic reindeer. Fueled by our love for these captivating creatures and a desire to share their magic, as well as our passion for farming and agriculture, we embarked on an unforgettable adventure.
Our journey began with extensive research into the fascinating world of reindeer and their sustainable farming methods. We delved into their biology, behavior, and the best practices for their care, ensuring that our farm would be a nurturing, educational, and environmentally conscious habitat for both the reindeer and our visitors. We made many visits to other reindeer operations all over the United States to best learn what we needed to do for our special animals.
We have designed our reindeer farm to not only immerse guests in the captivating world of reindeer, but also to bring them closer to agriculture and foster an appreciation for the hard work and dedication that goes into farming. Our goal is to inspire a deeper understanding of the vital role farmers play in our lives and to encourage the public to support local agriculture.
To make our dream a reality, we made the bold decision to start from scratch and build a new farm on ground specifically tailored to the needs of our reindeer and the educational experiences we envisioned for our guests. This decision marked the beginning of an extraordinary transformation and the birth of our enchanting reindeer farm.
