Our Foundation Stock
All of our foundation stock comes from Lakeport Miniature Highlands Farm in Lakeport, Michigan. Hans and Sheril Peterson have spent over 20 years working on what we know today as miniature highlands. They have responsibly bred for smaller framed, healthy animals that will be the basis of our breeding program here in Utah. We are grateful for the opportunity to continue with their mission.

Our Heifers:
Merida a 94% highland/dexter cross who is chondro +
&
Myra a 50% highland/dexter cross also chondro +.
For longevity and safety we are utilizing embryo transfer to have our heifers offspring carried by surrogates. This way we dont subject our girls to the risks of pregnancy and birthing. This will mean they are still heifers after we have their babies on the ground since they didn't carry them.

Our Bulls
Porter a 50% Highland/ Dexter cross who is chondro -

Rockwell a 50% Highland/ Dexter cross who is chondro -
Porter and Rockwell are identical twins. One embryo that split. Most breeding operations don't want to feed two boys for the genetic benefit of one. We are going to collect and bank them, then castrate them so they can have a second career as oxen. These two boys are halter broke and have been under the yoke already.
Semen available: unsexed $100/ straw
